The Voice of the Islamic Republic of Iran organized the second National Radio Documentary Festival "Pejvak" in order to identify and introduce the best radio documentary works at the national level and to create a constructive competition between documentary makers as well as to discover and develop talents in the field of programming. Documentaries that, with a creative and innovative approach, emphasize on creating hope and social vitality, justice and seeking justice, strengthening the spirit and sense of national identity and cohesion, paying attention to the Iranian-Islamic lifestyle, as well as the Iranian-Islamic culture and art (with a cultural guidance approach). They were of special importance in this festival
